BSA Youth Protection Training

 

Every adult involved in the Scouting, as a parent, volunteer, or leader, is required to complete Youth Protection Training. This free training is offered online through the BSA. Once finished, you will be directed to an instant certification page which allows you to print your completion certification. Please bring this printed form to the next Troop meeting so we can keep it on file. YPT must be completed, through the BSA, every 2 years to keep yourself, and your Scout, valid in the system.

Adult Volunteerism

No BSA Troop would be complete without the volunteerism of some very exceptional adults. They are soldiers, educators, and leaders who are prepared to spend a little of their time shaping the hearts and minds of our future generation. They are you and me. Troop 682 leadership is comprised of parents who are willing to lend a hand preparing our boys for life. A simple, free online training program and a few hours per week. That's all we ask. Troop 682 pays for all fees associated with processing the adult form for volunteerism and the training can be completed online, for free, at your own pace. You may even discover a new interest for yourself!
